Meet Steven Gongora | Lonestar Air Services
Steven Gongora, the owner of Lonestar Air Services in Seguin, TX, has built a strong foundation in the HVAC industry over the past 10 years.
However, HVAC is not where Steven’s career began.
Before entering the trades, Steven served in the U.S. Army, an experience that shaped a lot of the values he would eventually bring into Lonestar Air Services: hard work, accountability, doing things the right way and taking care of the people around you.
After leaving the Army, Steven started at the bottom of the HVAC industry as a helper for one of the largest HVAC companies in San Antonio. Within a year, he worked his way up to lead installer and continued building experience across residential, commercial and new construction HVAC.
Eventually, he moved into service, where he found the part of the industry he enjoyed most: solving problems and working directly with homeowners.
Why Lonestar Air Services
After years in the industry, Steven knew there was room to do things differently.
He wanted to build an HVAC company where customers were given options, not pressure. Where technicians took ownership of their work. Where answering the phone, showing up when you say you will and treating someone’s home with respect weren’t considered extras.
That became Lonestar Air Services.
Today, Steven is still very much a hands-on owner. You may find him helping a technician troubleshoot a difficult call, checking in on an installation, training the team or climbing into an attic himself when that’s what needs to be done.
For Steven, taking care of people comes before making a sale. Sometimes that means replacing a system. Sometimes it means finding a repair that gives a homeowner a few more good years with the one they already have.
Either way, the goal is the same: give people the information they need to make the best decision for their home.
More Than HVAC
Outside of Lonestar Air Services, Steven’s favorite role is being Dad. He and his wife, Mary, are raising their family here in the same community Lonestar serves, which is a big part of why being involved locally matters so much to them.
That involvement has become part of the culture at Lonestar Air Services, too. The company regularly sponsors local organizations, youth sports and community events, but we believe supporting our community should go beyond writing a check. Our team also volunteers their time together, showing up and getting involved whenever we can.
When Steven isn’t working, spending time with family or somewhere in the community, there’s a good chance he’d rather be outside. Hunting, fishing, camping and just about anything competitive are all fair game.
